New Delhi: Popular singer ’s latest song ‘Jugni’ has been creating a massive buzz and garnering millions of views across platforms. However, amid its success, the song has been dragged into an unexpected controversy, leaving the singer deeply distressed.
According to sources, a minor technical error during filming led to an unintended camera angle being included in one of the scenes featuring actress . While the issue was inadvertent, some miscreants allegedly picked up that portion and began circulating manipulated versions of the video.
Using AI tools, these individuals reportedly morphed and exaggerated the scene, presenting it in a misleading and objectionable manner on social media. The edited clips were widely shared, with false allegations being made against Sonu Thukral and Jacqueline Fernandez, accusing them of promoting obscenity.
Taking the matter seriously, Sonu Thukral decided to remove the song from his official channel despite it crossing nearly 15 million views. The video was later re-uploaded after editing out the disputed portion. Despite this corrective step, manipulated AI versions of the song continue to circulate online, further amplifying the controversy.
Disturbed by the ongoing misuse, Sonu Thukral has now filed an official complaint with the cyber crime cell. In his complaint, he stated that certain individuals are deliberately attempting to tarnish his image and misrepresent his work through digitally altered content.
The singer has urged audiences not to believe or share such misleading videos and to watch only the official version available on authorized platforms. He has also expressed confidence that the cyber crime authorities will take strict action against those responsible.
Despite the controversy, ‘Jugni’ continues to trend and remains widely popular among listeners, proving that its appeal has not diminished.
